Myoko Sanroku Kenmin-no Mori
ABOUT

Myoko Sanroku Kenmin-no Mori is located on the Myoko Plateau at an altitude of 1300 meters, surrounded by the Myoko Mountain Range in the Myoko Togakurenzan National Park, with an area of approximately 157 hectares, mainly forested by the prefectural government.
The forests are diverse, including evergreen coniferous forests of mainly German spruce and broad-leaved forests of beech and birch. The beautiful forests of German spruce are especially famous nationwide.
Sasagamine Plateau, a prefectural forest, was certified as a “forest therapy road” by the Forestry Agency on April 4, 2008.





Beautiful scenery greets you at Sasagamine from spring to fall.
You can see many kinds of plants, and a walk in the forest will heal your heart.
Udana’s fresh water was selected as one of the 100 best waters of the Heisei era.
