Hidarekishi Village

The Satoyama Course (approx. 4 km) is comprised of a number of historic sites scattered within a radius of approximately 1 km.

The course includes the Hida Ruins, Kannon-daira and Tenjindo Ancient Burial Mounds, and the Samegao Castle Ruins.

It is also a famous place for katakuri (dogtooth violet). 

The flowers are at their best from early April, when there are so many that there is no space to walk.

After listening to the explanation at the administration building and eating your prepared lunch, let’s climb up to Samegao Castle.
